DVD players with HDMI outputs and video up-conversion allow viewers to watch and listen to DVDs with
exceptional audio and video resolution. It also makes set-up and connection to the rest of A/V components much
easier since everything can be connected through a single cable.
DivX Playback
All the new Pioneer DVD players allow playback of DivX files burned on a CD-R/RW/ROM disc. DivX is a popular
media technology including compressed digital video which ensures a high compression rate and fast transfer
speed without appreciably compromising the picture quality. What's more, the DV-696AV-S is an official DivX Ultra
Certified product. This means the unit lets you enjoy DivX files with interactive features like DVD Video - including
menus, selectable subtitle languages/audio tracks, and so on.
Photo + Music Mix (JPEG Slideshow with Music)
Pioneer's new DVD players let you play back JPEG still photos and MP3/WMA music files at the same time. This
